Oxford Park Opens Swim Club Memberships to All Oxford Area Residents

Residents of Oxford, North Carolina and neighboring communities will have the opportunity to join the Oxford Park Swim Club this summer. Owned and managed by a partnership between Oxford residents John and Lucy Bode and developer East West Partners, the Oxford Park Swim Club has served families of the neighborhood since 2006.

"The swim club is a great facility. To share it and include the entire community in its membership is one of the best ways we can be a good neighbor to the town and community at large. Not only is this a positive thing for us to do, itís important for us to provide great recreational opportunities to our fellow citizens of Oxford," said Roger Perry, President of East West Partners.

Oxford Park landowner Lucy Bode adds another perspective. She says that even now, in the middle of winter, and facing economic challenges, many families are planning creatively for vacation time. "This is the perfect opportunity for residents to consider taking a vacation at home this summer by spending time together at this beautiful, multi-million dollar pool complex."

The Oxford Park Swim Club has two pools: a full-size lap pool and a shoreline entry pool with a 100 foot water slide and large mushroom waterfall. A full time lifeguard staff is on staff during the club season from May through September. Shaded lounge areas, grilling facilities with picnic areas, and a Tot Lot playground are available at the club. Planned seasonal activities include a swim team, swimming lessons, bingo, and drive-in movie nights.

Summer 2011 memberships are available at three levels: Family Swim Membership, Couple Swim Membership, and Single Swim Membership. The club is also available to the public for birthday parties, private functions and swim lessons.
